My Newest Spring Love

The basic cardi is always a key item for transitioning into spring and my newest obsession is this fun number...  Matthew Williamson continues his award winning design streak with this silk beaded cardigan. The embellishment reminds me a little of something patched up and Raggedy Ann-esque, yet with a polished twist.  The basic khaki color would be perfectly paired with bright spring floral tops or dresses and I'd love to wear it with leggings and a simple white v-neck or with jeans into the fall...  There are definitely articles of clothing meant to be lived in and this is one!

Net-A-Porter's Newest Boutique!

I have to say that even though I can't always afford the clothes, I absolutely LOVE shopping on net-a-porter's boutiques.   They always have a great ideas for any outfit requirement.  The newest boutique, just announced today, focuses on wedding wear and hit home for me for a few reasons:
  1. I have three weddings to attend this Spring and though I love weddings, especially those of close friends and family, there's always that problem of what to wear.  The site's suggestions on wedding guest attire are truly sensational and are sure to get you pumped for making an event appearance!
  2. Can you imagine wearing this adorable Thread Social one-shoulder bridesmaid dress this Spring instead of any of the horrible options frequently chosen to complement the bride?  Sheer heaven.  If only we were all so fashion bewitched.
  3. And lastly... if/when I succumb to eternal commitment, I would absolutely love to wear couture over a "whipped cream" wedding gown.  I've been seriously obsessed with this Roberto Cavalli gown for months, lusting after it and desperately wanting to order it to wear to a mardi gras ball this year. Sadly, white is just not the best color for ball debauchery, so this gown will stay on my list of obsessions for now...
